Criteria for Membership
The 100 Black Men of San Antonio, regularly hosts orientation and information gathering sessions for men interested in membership with our organization. To qualify for membership, a man must meet the following:
-21 years of age or older
-Pass a Criminal Background Check
-Pay our membership fees.

Membership Types
Active Member A member who is actively involved with the programs of the chapter, serves on one or more committees and regularly attend meetings. |
Supporting Member A member who financially supports the chapter, but is currently unable to devote sufficient time to mentoring, tutoring and/or committee work. This form of membership is only granted by the executive committee of the chapter. |
Honorary Members A person who has made “distinctive contributions” Honorary membership may be granted at the discretion of the Executive Board as a means of honoring outstanding supporters of the organization. |
The Membership Process
In order to become a member of the 100 Black Men of San Antonio, any interested person must:
- Submit an application
- Attend General meetings and other events
- After 60 - 120 days of volunteering with us, and your application will be reviewed by the board for membership
- Once approved, you will be informed of next steps.
